PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical solidifying and shaping apparatus capable of shortening an optical solidifying and shaping time to a large extent and efficiently utilizing the output of a light irradiation means by at least partially performing a re-coating process and an optical scanning process and not requiring the precise control of the liquid surface of an uncured soln. SOLUTION: A re-coating apparatus has re-coater blades 15a, 16a moving horizontally so as to leave a predetermined interval (d) from the upper surface of a cured layer to smoothly level the upper surface of the uncured soln. and an optical scanning device optically scans the smooth liquid surface 2b by the re-coater blades during movement at the same time. A sedimentation device keeps the liquid surface 2a of the uncured soln. higher than the smooth liquid surface 2b by the re-coater blades.
