摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure<13> C concentration in vivo by providing an exhalation resistance means as resistance to the blowing of exhalation into a mouth part of an exhalation bag to prevent outside air inhaled deeply from being discharged directly. SOLUTION: An exhalation bag is a self-sustaining bag 2 comprising a resin film and a laminated sheet of aluminum foils. In the exhalation bag, a rigid tubular mouth part 3 is mounted sealed on a mouth part and a cap 4 is removably mounted. An exhalation resistance means 5 is fitted in the tubular mouth part 3 of the exhalation bag to generate a specified blowing resistance during the blowing of exhalation. As the resistance to blowing during the blowing of the exhalation develops a double breathing, even when a subject takes a deep breathing, outside air sucked is mixed sufficiently with air containing<13> C in vivo thereby eliminating drop in the<13> C in vivo. In other words, this prevents direct discharge of fresh outside air sucked by the deep breathing thereby achieving a mixing with air containing<13> C in vivo before the exhaustion.</p>
