<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pressing force in a grommet fitted to and installed in a panel hole of a vehicle or the like. SOLUTION: In a grommet formed by peripherally arranging an annular groove 5 fitted to and installed in a panel hole 4 formed on a partition wall of a vehicle or the like on an outer peripheral surface of a grommet main body 2 thickly formed in a funnel shape, a lightening part 9 is formed on the grommet main body central axis side of the annular groove by lightening the thickness up to reaching the vicinity of a peripheral wall surface from an inner peripheral surface 2b of the grommet main body 2 opposed to a peripheral wall surface 5a, and a thin extensible-contractible part 10 freely extensible-contractible in the fitting-installing direction to the panel hole is peripherally arranged. The extensible-contractible part 10 has a bending part 10a folded back in the annular groove 5. A extending time of the extensible-contactible part 10, the lightening part 9 is formed in a cross sectional equal leg trapezoidal shape, and a width of an opposed wall surface 9a of the lightening part 9 opposed to the peripheral wall surface 5a is set smaller than a width of the peripheral wall 5a, and a width of an opening surface 9b of the lightening part 9 is set larger than a width of the peripheral wall 5a, and the peripheral wall surface 5a and the opposed wall surface are set almost in parallel to each other.</p> |
