PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove imperfect printed matter by scrutinizing the printed results when printing large quantities of individually different print contents at a high speed. SOLUTION: Printed matter is printed at a high speed by a printer part 10, then its printed state is checked and imperfect printed matter is marked. The marking method is to print a character, a character string, a figure or a bar code on the blank space of the printed matter so that causes for an error or the imperfectness of the printed matter can be recognized or the smear the important contents of the printed matter so that it is substantially nullified, and these two alternatives are combined. The printed matter coming out of a printer has its mark checked by a sealing part 20, and the imperfect printed matter is immediately discarded. Normal printed matter is sealed into an envelope and is finally checked to determine whether the sealed printed matter is properly viewed through the transparent window of the envelope. The discarded imperfect printed matter is reprinted by an almost error-free reprinting part 40. |
