PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material improved in pressure resistance and blocking resistance in high humidity, without deteriorating surface gloss, haze, graininess, and film brittleness. SOLUTION: This silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support contains composite grains having an average grain diameter of 0.05-1μm and comprising a colloidal silica and an organic polymer in at least one layer and >=80 number % of the above grains composed of cores of colloidal silica and shells of the organic polymer.
