The signal sum and signal difference relative to a target is provided by an antenna. A processing circuit with change of frequency provides the signals to synthesise a distance signal, E, defined by the scalar product divided by (70) the scalar square so as to point the antenna after integration or to synthesise guidance orders to a moving body. The time constant, T, applied to the scalar product is that of a low-pass filter (181). Alternatively, the scalar product is acted upon by a filter of the same time constant while another time constant is the denominator of the Laplace transform of a corrective network signal of the distance signal whose numerator operates a correction with a time constant near the initial value.
