The plastic hanger (1) has an upper rock (2) and at least one horizontal bar (3,5,6), one of which, and preferably the lower one (3) has a zone of reduced thickness in the form of a membrane (8) offset to one side of the centre of the bar. The hanger is made by injection moulding from a rigid plastic material such as crystal polystyrene. The thickness of the hanger is 2.5 mm, while the membrane (8) is some 0.6 mm thick.
