Inductor for installation in trough-like plate for heater in domestic equipment

The inductor has a coil on a carrier with thermal and/or electrical insulation covering it and a sensor for the plate temperature which is electrically insulated from the plate. Between the inductor and the plate is an airgap. The carrier has a support shoulder for the plate which projects through a hole in the insulation and the sensor is retained in the shoulder. The shoulder projects minimally over the surface of the insulation. The insulation is designed as a stable plate forming a compact unit when fastened to the carrier. The carrier has spacers on the side facing the plate.
