The invention concerns a device for detecting the state of pipelines which convey media, in particular steam or hot water, in particular for detecting leaks. The pipeline comprises an inner medium-conveying pipe (1), an adjoining heat-insulation layer (2) and an outer protective pipe (3). Provided in the region of the heat-insulation layer (2) is at least one sensor unit (4) with an inductance coil (5) and a moisture and/or temperature-dependent sensor (7). The state of the sensor unit (4) is scanned by a scanning system (20) comprising an excitation coil (25) with a transceiving and evaluation system (22, 23, 24). The scanning system can be portable, coupled to a laptop or take the form of a stationary attachment fitted on top of the sensor unit (4). |
