The front and back floats (1,2) are joined together by a rigid frame (3). This passes under the trunk of the swimmer and between his legs. The front body (1) supports handles (13) turned by the swimmer and operate a propeller (19). The shaft (11) of the handles is joined to a toothed wheel (15) which engages on an endless screw (16). This is joined to the shaft (17) of the propeller which crosses through a bearing in the end of a horn (18) at the back of the body.
