A transfer press in which a crown (3) is disposed on a plurality of uprights (6) provided on a bed (4) in such a manner as to erect therefrom, in which the crown and the bed are tightened by a tie-rod (7) inserted into each of the uprights so as to construct a press main body (1), and in which a plurality of processing stations are provided in the press main body, the transfer press being characterised in that the crowns and beds are divided into a plurality of sections at a position offset from the centre of the tie-rod, and that the sections of the crown and the bed are connected, respectively, to each other by means of a horizontal connecting means (9).
