The mounting has a non-torque link (18) connecting the motor transmission group (2) to the chassis (8) of the vehicle by two articulations (22,28) at least one of which is elastic. The elastic articulation is carried by a coupling (30) which is fixed to the group or the chassis by at least two screws (32,34,36) of which one (32) forms a pivot for the coupling with an axis perpendicular to the line of action of the link. At least one other screw traverses the coupling via an opening (38,40) to allow the adjustment, before locking the screws, the position of the coupling and thus the rest position of the link.
