Cooker with oven mouth which can be sealed by swinging door

The cooker has an oven mouth which can be sealed by a swinging door, which is fastened to two supporting components. Each of the latter has a loose mounting using a swinging insertion part (13) which is held in a receptacle region (17) of a hinge retainer. The latter is fixed to the cooker using a fastener. The receptacle region has an insertion opening on each narrow end wall, and has corresponding stops for the insertion part. The stops allow the door to be used on either side of the hinge retainer. The insertion part may have bearing hooks (15) in the region of the end section which faces towards the supporting component, and may have an overhang (27) which is spaced from the latter, and which, with the corresponding stops, fixes its seating in the receptacle region.
