The photocell detector has an electronic circuit, which with the optical unit (20) are arranged at the detector body (10). The detector also include a head (32), which is fixed firmly and flush at the detector body and a cap (31), which is at least partly transparent and is fixed at the detector body. In addition a prism (32) is provided, which has a sloping reflection surface (32a), which is inserted fixed and flush in the cap, leaving clear an air space (31d), between its sloping surface (32a) and a front side (31a) of the cap.
