Chain connecting component

The chain connecting component has a profiled body (11) with a recess (2) and a chain link housing formed as a toggle (6) which has a T-head (7) as the chain link holder and a connecting neck (8) for threading of a chain link. The profiled body is based on a sheet blank which has one leg projecting to one side from the plane of the blank and which is provided with the recess, and at the other end of the blank is a leg projecting to the same side and which forms the toggle.
