The waste-disposal unit (2) has an opening (1) closed by a lid (9) with lock (13) and key and leading into an inner compartment into which a receptacle (5) is inserted. The cylindrical container (5) has a movable floor (18) consisting of two half-shells (6). Between the floor (18) and the lid (17) of the receptacle (5) is a movably-mounted slide-piece (25) which separates the bottomless part (24) of the container (5) from the floored container-part (23) when the lid (17) is opened.
