PURPOSE:To efficiently produce an amide by converting an oxime into the amide in the presence of a catalytical amount of a reaction accelerator in a liquid phase under mild reaction conditions. CONSTITUTION:A reaction accelerator for converting an oxime into an amide, consisting of an N,N-disubstituted formamide or an N,N-disubstituted carboxylic amide and an alkylating agent, the alkylating agent comprising an alkane sulfonic acid ester, an aromatic sulfonic acid ester, a trialkyloxonium salt, a sulfate ester, or the reaction product of a strong acid compound with an epoxy compound. |
