PURPOSE:To manufacture efficiently a polypropylene resin sheet or film of superior surface smoothness and transparency by introducing a sheet or a film of heat molten resin film between a cooling roll with mirror processed surface and metal endless belt with mirror processed surface. CONSTITUTION:A sheet or film 3 is introduced between a cooling roll 4 with mirror processed surface and a metal endless belt 5 with mirror processed surface, and moved between the cooling roll 4 and the metal endless belt 5 while being brought into contact with the outer periphery of the cooling roll 4 and cooled therein. Then, pressure is applied from the inside of the metal endless belt 5 by using an internal pressurizing and cooling roll 7 to release the contact with the cooling roll 4, and then further moved while being in close contact with the metal endless belt 5, and then cooled by using an internal auxiliary cooling roll 8 or the like, if necessary, and then released. |
