PURPOSE:To enlarge the usual supercharge operation range by performing the stop of operation of a part of exhaust turbo-superchargers, the uneven supply of fuel into a combustion chamber and the formation of uniform mixture for the combustion chamber in accordance with a flow rate of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:When a flow rate of exhaust gas detected by a detecting means 91 is below a first set value, a control means 92 controls an operation stopping means 41 so as to stop the operation of a part of exhaust turbo-superchargers 32. Further, when the flow rate of exhaust gas is below a second set value, a change-over means 92 changes over the supply of fuel so that fuel is fed by a first supply means 93, resulting in uneven distribution of fuel in a combustion chamber. Meanwhile, when the flow rate of exhaust gas exceeds the second set value, the change-over means 95 changes over the supply of fuel which therefore is fed by a second fuel supply means 94 so that uniform mixture is formed in the combustion chamber. Further, the first set value or flow rate set on the control means 92 is higher than the second set value or flow rate. |
