<p>The vehicle transmission comprises a gearbox (1) providing an output shaft which drives a cardan joint (10). There is also an electrical brake operating by generation of Foucault currents, comprising an annular inductor stator (22) mounted facing the frame (3) of the gearbox. The stator includes a ring of coils (23) arranged around the cardan joint. There is also an armature rotor (21) which includes two wheels (32) encasing the stator. These wheels are made of ferromagnetic material and are fixed to the two ends of a tube which surround the cardan joint. One of the ends is fixed to a plate (49) which is solidly attached to the output shaft of the gearbox. The wheels include a series of blades forming cooling fins.</p> |
