<p>PURPOSE:To provide a weather strip and production thereof which does not need any adhesive and adhesive-related installation therefor and can be produced by inexpensive installation cost, safely and sanitarily. CONSTITUTION:The title weather strip is a weatherstrip wherein a polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer P and an EPDM rubber sponge are respectively used as a trim 1 and a hollow seal part 3 and in its production, an EPDM rubber sponge E which has been continuously extruded by a separate process and vulcanization-molded is press-bonded on a trim 1 which is just after continuous extrusion molding of an polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer P and a core metal 2 together and is still under a molten state.</p> |
