The invention concerns a method of electrically connecting enamelled wire ends by means of contact surfaces. According to the invention, an enamelled wire end is laid bare and is then pressed against a contact surface. Electromagnetic and/or acoustic energy is then applied to the wire end. The invention further concerns a device for carrying out this method.
