摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal spraying material of an oxide system which is capable of forming a dense and secure thermally sprayed film having excellent corrosion resistance by forming spherical secondary particles internally having cavities by bonding of fine oxide particles. CONSTITUTION:The fine oxide particles 1 consisting of <=1mum average grain size are stuck at a prescribed thickness on the surfaces of the spherical base particles 3 of about 10mum grain size consisting of carbon which burns to carbon dioxide at a relatively low temp. The base particles 3 are removed by adequate means such as heat treatment to prepare the secondary particles of the above- mentioned thermal spraying material internally having the cavities 2. The above- mentioned oxide consists of >=1 kinds among zirconia, alumina, titania, yttria, magnesia, calcia, and chromia and the diameter of the cavities 2 is preterably about <=200mum. The fine oxide particles 1 are well melted and the fine particles are well bonded to each other and are press-welded to the surface of a material to be thermally sprayed at the time of thermal spraying, by which the dense and secure thermally sprayed film having less pores is formed. The resistance of products to heat, wear and corrosion is improved if this film is applied on the products.
