PURPOSE:To avoid an excess and deficiency of operation time with regard to size of a room while an air clarifier is made to operate with a gas sensor by making a setup time of a timer variable in accordance with the size of the room. CONSTITUTION:An air clarifier is equipped with a gas sensor 2 and a control unit 1 operated by a microcomputer. The control unit 1 makes an operation of the air clarifier start owing to an output increase of the gas sensor 2. The air clarifier is also equipped with a detection device for detecting a saturation in the variation of gas sensor output with the lapse of time. And a timer device, which makes the operation of the air clarifier stop at a prescribed setup time after the saturation in the variation of gas sensor output is detected, is also installed. This setup time can be controlled in accordance with the size of a room by the timer device. |
