<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently execute exchanging work by moving a carrier to a mechanically original point at the time of turning on a power supply to initialize coordinates and then returning the carrier to a home position close to a window around the center of a rack to allow the carrier to standby. CONSTITUTION:At the time of turning on a power supply, a carrier control part moves the carrier 20 to the mechanically original point A of the rack 10 to initialize the coordinates. After the initialization, the control part moves the carrier 20 to the vicinity of the window 16 around the center of the rack 10 and allows the carrier to standby. Thereby, the carrier 20 is moved from the home position B to the position of an objective cassette. When the power supply is disconnected and the device is stopped, the control part returns the carrier 20 to the original point A. Since the original point A is positioned on the outside of the rack 10, the carrier 20 is not superposed to the rack 10 and the cassette can easily be exchanged without being interrupted by the carrier 20. Consequently, workability for exchanging a cassette to be housed in the rack can be improved.</p> |
