CONSTITUTION:A reproducing means 13 to reproduce the starting signal to express the head of the program such as a sound signal and a video signal recorded to a recording medium, an operating means 28 to execute the operation of the research in the reverse direction, and a control means 18A to execute the research of the program before the program number '1' of the program based on the starting signal and the external or internal program number, are used. For example, when the system controller 18A is set to the music selection of absolute address and the RS key 28 is operated, the action of the music selection of absolute address in the reverse direction is started.
