PURPOSE: To convert substantially 100% of kinetic energy into electric energy by coating the outer circumferential surface of a piezoelectric element with a mold releasing agent exhibiting low affinity to a filter thereby prolonging the time of expanding/contracting motion of the piezoelectric element. CONSTITUTION: When a movable tube 2 is shifted inward to a fixed tube 1, a spring 6 is compressed to store the force and when the movable tube 2 is shifted by a predetermined distance, a stopper pin 7 is disengaged. Consequently, a hammer 5 is subjected to a repelling force from the spring 6 and strikes against a piezoelectric element(PE) 3 which thereby generates a high voltage. The PE 3 is coated, on the outer circumferential surface, with a mold releasing agent 20 exhibiting low affinity to a filler 19 in order to enhance the degree of freedom in the expansion/contraction of the PE 3. Consequently, a slippery interface is provided between the mold releasing agent 20 and the filter 19 and the time of expanding/contracting motion of the PE 3 is prolonged because the kinetic energy propagating to the fixed tube 1 is reduced and the kinetic energy is increased through reaction to a receiving base 9 for supporting the PE 3 thus enhancing the energy being discharged. |
