<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the abrasion resistance, heat resistance and thermal response of the protective film protecting a heating element layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head is constituted of a substrate 1, the heating element layer 3 formed on the substrate 1 and electrodes 4, 4' supplying a current to the heating element layer 3.
