<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly transfer from automatic steering to manual steering on a vehicle free to change automatic steering and manual steering over to each other. SOLUTION: A tire drive mechanism 11 is driven by driving a differential motor 14 in an automatic steering mode. Additionally, a steering wheel 10 is locked by actuating a lock mechanism 16. In case of transferring from automatic steering to manual steering, only the steering wheel 10 is rotated by actuating a supersonic motor provided on a connecting part of the steering wheel 10 and a steering shaft, and it is made to match an actual steering angle. It is transferred to manual steering by stopping the supersonic motor and the differential motor 14 after the angles are matched and by releasing the lock mechanism 16.</p> |
