PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the inverter frequency of a compressor before a breaker operates and prevent the generation of a power failure by performing a fuzzy computation based on the difference between a breaker limiting value and a detected full current value, and the value of a physical quantity such as a current inverter frequency. SOLUTION: A detecting circuit 12 for detecting a full current and an air conditioner 16 are connected to a breaker 10. The air conditioner 16 is provided with a controlling microcomputer 22, a frequency converting circuit 26, a compressor 28, a control current value setting device 30 or the like. The limiting current of the breaker 10 is set by the limiting current value setting device 30. An usable current calculating part 22a of the controlling microcomputer 22 calculates the difference between a limiting current value from the setting device 30 and the full current value of the detecting circuit 12. A fuzzy computing part 22b computes and decides the rate of change in time and the ascending and descending modes of an inverter frequency to be controlled, of the compressor 28, based on the calculated current and a physical quantity (the vlaue of current during the operation of the air conditioner). The operation of the breaker is avoided under such a control of the inverter frequency. |
