PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wear on sealing side faces by forming multiple oil grooves which are open to inner peripheral surface side and apart from each other and the recessed parts of wedge effect generating tilt surface which is extended to both sides of the oil grooves in circumferential direction and connected to the oil grooves on the side surfaces of the sealing positioned opposedly to an annular groove. SOLUTION: A pair of annular grooves 4 are formed on the outer periphery of a shaft 1, and a sealing main body 5a is positioned in them and sealed by hydraulic oil 3. In the sealing main body 5a, the barrel face surface 6b of a sealing is pressed against the inner periphery surface of a case 2 by hydraulic pressure. Also a sealing side face 7a is slid relatively to the side surfaces 4a of the annular grooves 4. Then the oil grooves 9 which are open to the inner periphery side 8 of the sealing and extend radially and the recessed parts of wedge effect generating tilt surfaces 10a and 10b which are connected to a plane part 7 on both sides of the oil grooves 9 in circumferential direction are provided in the sealing side face 7a positioned opposedly to the annular grooves 4. |
