PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-flowability polycarbonate resin for an optical recording medium excellent in the capability of transfer and high-cycle moldability and resistant to the generation of deposits on a stamper. SOLUTION: This polycarbonate resin has a viscosity-average mol.wt. (Mv) of 13,000 to 20,0000, provided that the content of low-molecular carbonate compds. of at most 1,000 in mol.wt., contained in the polycarbonate resin, is lower than 1wt.% and the content of a polycarbonate oligomer of 2,000 to 5,000 in mol.wt. is at least 10wt.%. |
