PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To artificially harvest many reproductive cells for green alga lavers containing much carotene and nutrients. SOLUTION: The leaf-shaped body of green alga lavers is cut into fine pieces (from (0.6mm)<2> to (15mm)<2> ) and cultivated in seawater 5 so as to be grown into cut leaf-shaped body piece 3. The reproductive cells discharged from the respective provided grown-up leaf-shaped body pieces 3 are collected, extracted and harvested by light while utilizing phototaxis. |
