PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate treatment for making a suspended cabinet incombustible even when a range hood is provided adjacently to the side part of the suspended cabinet by attaching incombustible members to side covers provided in the side parts of a range hood main body. SOLUTION: Side covers 3 are attached to both the sides of the hood main body 2 of a range hood 1 by means of machine screws. Incombustible plates 4 or side screen plates 5 are attached to the side covers 3. The side covers 3, are made of a material the same as that of the hood main body 2. with their side faces formed substantially in U shapes, have the same height and depth dimension. The incombustible plates 4 are made of calcium silicate or the like. The side screen plates 5 are made of the material the same as that of the hood main body 2, formed substantially in U shapes in their section and have such size and width as to close the side parts of the side covers 3 and be housed therein. When the incombustible plates 4 are attached to the side covers 3 of the suspended cabinet side of the hood main body 2, an operation for bonding incombustible materials to the side parts of the suspended cabinet is omitted. Since the suspended cabinet is separated by the width of the side covers 3 from a hot plate, incombustible materials do not need to be bonded to the bottom surfaces of look up plates. |
