PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise caused by oscillation of a bulkhead plate. SOLUTION: A bulkhead plate 4 to block starting motor and a speed reduction mechanism from each other is constituted of an inclined part 4a, a fall stop part 4b and a thrust receiver part 4c, and it is provided integrally with a yoke 6 of the starting motor. The inclined part 4a is formed toward the inside diametrical direction from a front end of the yoke 6 inclined to the side of the speed reduction mechanism. The fall stop part 4b is formed by roughly vertically extending in the inside diametrical direction from the inclined part 4a, and it stops falling of a planetary gear by making contact with a pin to support the planetary gear and an end surface of a bearing. The thrust receiver part 4c is to support a shaft 8 through a bearing 24 to fit in the shaft 8 free to rotate and to receive a thrust load of the shaft 8, bent from the fatt stop part 4b to the side of an armature core 9 and cylindrically formed, and this cylindrically formed part is press fit in an outer periphery of the bearing 24 fit in the shaft 8. |
