PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable production of uniform rolled stocks with good luster by cold rolling process in high productivity. SOLUTION: This cold rolling oil composition comprises a mineral oil (base oil) with a viscosity of <=6 cps at 40 deg.C, 5-60wt.% of an ester of 1-18C aliphatic alcohol and 6-18C aliphatic carboxylic acid, and 1-20wt.% of a 2-18C glycol ether. The second objective emulsion is prepared by diluting this composition with water so as to be 5-20wt.% in concentration. The third objective cold rolling process uses this emulsion as lubricant.
