PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conjugate monofilament clearly visible even in a gloomy circumstance, having excellent tensile property and useful for a fishing line, etc., by mixing a specific visible substance in a core part resin and subjecting to sheath-core conjugate spinning in a molten state. SOLUTION: This sheath-core double layers structured conjugate monofilament has a core part in a volume fraction of 10-70% and contains 0.3-10wt.% of platy filler pigment having 0.5-60μm average particle diameter and >=10 aspect ratio as a visible substance in a resin (e.g. nylon 6) constituting the core part.
