PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the combpstion gas amount and exhaust energy by communicating the combustion gas jet port of a high temperature burning furnace having a thermal storage type combustion burner with a furnace body in the furnace for melting an inorganic matter, and disposing an auxiliary burner. SOLUTION: Fuel F supplied to the combustion burner 23 of the combustor 24 of a high temperature burning furnace 6 is mixed with high temperature combustion air A by a thermal storage unit 22, and burned. The part of combustion gas G is injected from a combustion gas jet port 7 into the furnace body, the residual combustion gas G is supplied to a combustor 27 during pausing to give heat to a thermal storage unit 25, and exhausted out of a system. The combustors 24, 27 are switched at a predetermined interval. The high temperature gas G injected in a melting furnace body is turned by a swirler 8 to turn inorganic matters (b) such as incinerated ash and asbestos along the inner wall of the body 10, and melted by reheating by an auxiliary burner 9. Slag (s) is cooled and solidified in a melting slag pit 4. Thus, the temperature exceeding the melting point of the melted matter can be easily formed, thereby reducing the combustion gas amount and exhaust energy. |
