PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antioxidant useful for preventing oxidation of cow's milk, raw edible meat, a processed food of edible meat, etc., high in oxidation resistant activity in an aqueous medium, to be concrete, capable of preventing oxidation of liquid in an aqueous medium with a small amount, comprising a specific sesaminol glycoside composition as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This antioxidant comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a sesaminol triglycoside of formula I and (B) 10-360 pts.wt. of a sesaminol monoglyceride such as sesaminol 2'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside of formula II or a sesaminol diglucoside such as sesaminol 2'-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→2)-β-D-glucopyranoside of formula III as a sesaminol glucoside as an active ingredient. |
