PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a honeycomb woven fabric not only rich in volume, excellent in shape retainability and sufficiently having a warm-keeping property but also enabling the improvement of strength and coloring property and the weaving of the fabric without modifying an existing weaving mechanism. SOLUTION: This honeycomb woven fabric is obtained by weaving a pattern such as diamonds and squares in an uneven state and having warp and weft yarns highly floated. Convex and protruding parts 1, 2 having large unevenness is woven using a two-ply yarn S of a 20×20 yarn number count as warp and weft yarns.
