PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable pump with long motor life which can cope with the thinning and lightening of a pump. SOLUTION: In the axial type brushless DC motor of a pump 1, an open slot 5 part is punched out a steel band with a necessary pitch along its longitudinal direction and a spiral fix piece iron core 6 wound and piled this punched out steel band is used and in this pump 1, an impeller 10 is arranged in the axial direction of this DC motor and a ring shape metal plate and a ring shape permanent magnet 8 are installed on the surface of the motor side of this impeller 10. The fix piece part of the motor 2 and the impeller 10 are isolated by the side wall of a casing 11. By such structure, the pump 1 supplys and distributes a water by rotating the permanent magnet 8 and the impeller 10 by the operation of a rotary magnet field generated on the fix piece of a brushless DC motor. |
