PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable capacity compressor capable of cleaning/ eliminating foreign matters accumulated on a filter by means of its self-cleaning action as well as being capable of filtering foreign matters like carbide of worn powder and lubricant mixed in the lubricant by means of a filter. SOLUTION: The pressure in an delivery pressure range 39 is supplied to a crank chamber 25 via a pressure supply passage 51 and also the supply quantity of the pressure is controlled by a capacity control valve 52 arranged inside of the pressure supply passges 51 so as to change an delivery capacity. A filter 67 is arranged in the inlet part 51a on the delivery pressure range 39 side of the pressure supply passage 51 and foreign matters staying in the lubricant included in the coolant gas are filtered by means of this filter 67.
