<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of removing an alkali component in exhaust gas generated from combustion of fossil fuel with a simple means. SOLUTION: In a method of removing an alkali component in the exhaust gas 9 with the equipment by which the exhaust gas 9, after fossil fuel is burned in a furnace 2, is fed to an ash separation device 11 to separate ash 35 and the exhaust gas 9 separated the ash 5 is fed to energy recovering devices 12, 13, 14 to recover the energy, the alkali component in the exhaust gas 9 is adsorbed on an alkali adsorbent 41 by spraying a fine alkali adsorbent 41 into the exhaust gas 9 at a furnace outlet 2', and the alkali adsorbent 41 which adsorbed the alkali component is separated with an ash separator 11 together with the ash 35.</p> |
