<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain organic soil useful for growing a plant, rich in organic substances, fertile, excellent in water retention and shelf stability, industrially readily producible and easily transportable and suppliable, by blending a treated material of organic waste with mineral soil in a specific ratio. SOLUTION: This organic soil is obtained by a treated material of organic waste (preferably a mixture obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. of organic waste such as garbage with 2 pts.wt. of salt such as solar salt having <=5% water content manufacture by solar evaporation from Kuroshio (the Japan current stream) or seawater in deep layer and 3 pts.wt. of charcoal such as Binchozumi (high-quality charcoal) with (B) mineral soil in the weight ratio of the component A:B of 4:6.
