PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spray type sizing agent composition suitable for sizing after home washing, prevented from deterioration of aroma with the passage of time by blending a sizing agent base with a perfume and a compound capable of suppressing deterioration of aroma. SOLUTION: This spray type sizing agent composition for home is prepared by blending 0.1-20wt.% sizing agent base comprising a water-soluble polymer such as a cellulose derivative and an acrylic copolymer, 0.01-0.7wt.% mixed perfume, 1.0×10<-4> to 0.1wt.% at least one kind of compound selected from a group of disodium benzoate, 8acetylated sucrose and brucine, 1.0×10<-5> to 1.0wt.% at least one kind of compound selected from a group of benzoinazolon-3-one, dithiobisbenzamide, polyhexamethylene biguanide acid addition salt, chloromethylisoazolin-3-one and bromonitropropane diol.
