PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contamination resistance and the performance to remove contaminants in an environmental air by forming a thin film containing photocatalyst particles on the surface of a glass plate as the surface layer. SOLUTION: A coating compsn. containing >=50wt.% photocatalyst particles, an adsorbent, a binder and a solvent is applied to form a thin film having 0.1 to 10μm thickness on the surface of a glass plate as the surface layer having 3-30mm thickness and >=40% transmittance for the whole region of light. Thereby, when the thin film is irradiated with light of the wavelength having higher energy than the band gap of the photocatalyst particles, the contaminant depositing on the glass surface can be decomposed or the contaminant such as nitrogen oxides present near the laminated glass can be oxidized or decomposed and then removed. |
