PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the construction and operation of a portable drain pipe cleaning device. SOLUTION: A first clutch actuator 88 is supported relatively rotatably with a shaft 52 and displaceably in an axial line direction together with the shaft and is driven via a transmission pulley and a belt drive by a motor 110. A second clutch actuator 136 is supported coaxially with the first actuator, isolatedly therefrom and relatively rotatably. A clutch 138 is arranged between the two actuators and is shrunk radially and is engaged with a snake for cleaning a drain pipe in response with the displacement of the first actuator toward the second actuator. The clutch 138 and the second actuator 136 are arranged in a shroud 18 at one end of a housing. The position of the second actuator with respect to the first actuator is adjustable in the axial line direction. |
