摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thickness control method in a continuous rolling mill by which feedforward control is executed with high accuracy by a small number of thickness meters. SOLUTION: Detected values with the thickness meter 51 are stored in a thickness arithmetic part 11 at time series data. Actual travel speed v5 , v4 of a material S to be rolled which are detected with a speedometer 53 and a speedometer 52 are fetched, time (u) is calculated and ha4 (t-u) is extracted from the time series data with the thickness arithmetic part 11. The thickness h5 (t) of the material S to be rolled at the 5th stand #5 is calculated with the thickness arithmetic part 11 and the deviationΔh5 of the thickness ha5 (t) from the target thickness at the 5th stand #5 is calculated with a thickness deviation arithmetic part 12. And based on the thickness deviationΔh5 , the adjusting amountsΔS6 ,ΔS7 of screw-down locations at the 6th stand #6 and the 7th stand #7 are respectively calculated with a screw-down location adjusting amount arithmetic part 13 and the adjusting amountsΔV5 ,ΔV6 of circumferential speeds at the 5th and 6th stands #5, #6 are calculated with a circumferential speed adjusting amount arithmetic part 14.</p>
