The road crash barrier is constituted by rails (1) connected end to end and fixed by a bolt (2) on spaced posts (3) forced into the ground. A casing (6) is fixed to the barrier and retains the bolt to ensure fixing of the crash barrier onto each post. A spacer (8) is interposed between the casing and the post. The casing has a wall (10) with an oblong hole (12), which retains the bolt, communicating with a bolt introduction hole (13) in the casing. The casing is fixed to a fishplate (4) which connects two adjacent rails. The casing has a U shaped cross section whose free branch edges (9) are welded onto the fishplate. |
