Testing incremental measurement system

The method involves counting (5) the number of lines of the divisions of a scale of the measurement system between two reference signals as a number of pulses, whereby the first reference signal is formed by the null degree position or null marker and is used as the starting signal for the counting process. The second reference signal is defined by a reference marker after a defined displacement and terminates the counting process. The second reference signal can be formed by the recurrence of the null degree position or null marker.
